Fishing Report- Fishing is returning to normal after high water temps due to dam maintenance. Water temps are at 58 degrees which is prime for trout throughout the reef. If you are looking to head out and fish look at using Caddis, Trico, Pmd’s , Wine san juan worms.
Miracle Mile:
Flows- 1,693 CFS
Fishing Report- The Mile is fishing well using worm PMD rigs. There has also been some luck on rock worms. Start with 4 ft to an AB or BB and adjust from there.
Fremont Canyon:
Flows- 79 CFS
Fishing Report- We are hearing positive reports in the Canyon. Despite the rain, water is still running clean and flows are still at operational level. Caddis, small black midges, and rock worms have been most productive on the nymph rig. Fishing has been good in this area.
The Big Horn:
Flows- 1,942
Fishing Report-
The Big Horn has been fishing very well lately. Barr’s Emerger, the Jackson MacGruber, and Caddis have all been productive on the nymph rig. If you are looking to get into some dry fly action, the Big Horn may be the best bet. Hoppers and hopper droppers have consistently been fishing well. Start with 4 ft to an AB or BB and adjust from there. Hoppers, Crayfish, Worms, Caddis, PMD’s, Yellow Sallies are all working well.
