When accompanied by one of our professional guides, enjoy exclusive access to the Grey Reef Ranch. This beautiful western ranch is the heart of our guide service and is what sets us above all other outfitters in the area. It is located on the “blue ribbon” section of the North Platte River and provides miles of private fishing and boating access.
Grey Reef Ranch is also home to our 2000-acre game bird preserve! This ranch truly is a sportsman’s paradise.

Hunting Opportunities
Bird hunters will also be overwhelmed by the opportunities provided at Grey Reef Ranch. Pheasants, Chuckars, Quail, and Hungarian Partridges are our preserve birds, and Doves, Ducks and Geese can be hunted in season as well. Our kennel of hunting dogs is first class, and you can also enjoy our sporting clays stand, our sportsman lounge, and our indoor/heated cleaning facility.
Private Boat Access
Fishermen will enjoy the eight miles of private river access on this blue ribbon section of the North Platte River. Along with outstanding wade fishing, our six private boat accesses will get us ahead of any other fishermen on the river. Once you fish a day with us at Grey Reef Ranch, you’ll find it difficult to fish anywhere else.
Conservation Minded with Abundant Wildlife
Grey Reef Ranch is managed mainly with the sportsman in mind. The conservation of our wildlife resources is our top priority however. Fishing on the ranch is fly fishing only and catch and release only. By doing this, we will do our part in preserving this outstanding wild fishery for many years to come. We also hope to one day see a sustained wild population of our game birds. We are taking steps to improve the habitat on the ranch, and we are releasing a much larger number of game birds then what we are harvesting.
