Every year a fishing tournament is held by the Two Fly Foundation with cooperation with multiple guide services in the Casper area. Proceeds from this event are given as charitable donations to worthy causes such as the Child Development Center, the Greater Wyoming Big Brothers and Big Sisters, the Platte River Revival, and the Make a Wish foundation among countless others. To date, the Two Fly Foundation has donated more than $2.1 million to Wyoming charities.
Two man teams from the Oil and Gas industries compete to see who can land the biggest trout and score the most points to take home prizes such as rods and reels, and the grand prize: a bronze statue by artist J. Burnham Rudolph. Participants must compete under strict rules with fines for things such as hooking a guide.
The Two Fly is a great time for all involved, and all participants go home with something. Great memories are made in the benefit of Wyoming charities and the community gets a little closer every year. Rain or shine the Two Fly will continue to this year in 2019! Good luck to all!
