Interested in fishing some new Blue-Ribbon waters outside your current list of favorite spots? This hot spot is closer than you think. For some of you it is in your back yard! For a lot of people living on the Front Range, the North Platte River is a favorite fishing destination. Blake Jackson, Longtime fly fishing guide and Ugly Bug Business Partner, will be spinning tales of battling massive fish and challenging clients! The Ugly Bug Fly Shop is located in downtown Casper and Crazy Rainbow Fly Fishing Lodge is a stone’s throw from the river. The Ugly Bug and Crazy Rainbow have access to some of the most productive fishing in the lower 48. With 9 miles of private access on the world famous Grey Reef section of the North Platte, Crazy Rainbow has availability to a true paradise! This presentation should offer some useful information to the great fishery the Platte has to offer, but also allow some insight to the tricks of the trade to help make you a more effective angler. Blake will be hosting this presentation and talk on Tuesday February 2nd from 6-7:00 PM at Trout’s Fly Shop. There is no charge for this event, but it gets better as Crazy Mountain Brewery will be providing some suds. Whether you are regular on the river or this is your first time, this presentation should have something to offer to everyone. Hope to see you there.
