The mercury is starting to climb out of the sub zero digits along with some strong brisk winds to accompany it as well. Not much happening as far as floats due to the amount of cold weather and ice.
As usual there were still some brave souls who came out Saturday and battled the frigid temps and found a few birds. That night we also received a shipment of about 1,500 birds that we had to unload with wind chills cresting the -30 mark. As you can see from the picture that not even the birds wanted to touch the ground!
