FISHING REPORT GREY REEF AND MIRACLE MILE WYOMING 4/22/19

Current CFS.

  • The Grey Reef is at 500 CFS.
  • The Miracle Mile is at 1800 CFS
  • Fremont Canyon is at 75 CFS

Our rain these past few days has made the river below Government Bridge pretty dirty due to some creeks pumping chocolate milk into the river. The river above Government Bridge is fishing very well. The Miracle Mile is good as well, with some very large fish being caught.

Just a reminder, the Redds from cable to cable on the Grey Reef stretch are closed to fishing April 1st until April 31st due to the spawn.

Fly fishing quote of the week:

” There will be days when the fishing is better than one’s most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home. “
