HUNTING AND FISHING THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER

Had a busy weekend with boats and hunts.

Hunting on the Crazy Rainbow Bird Ranch with the folks from Brake Supply

We hosted a large group of people from Brake Supply this weekend that came out and hunted along with shooting sporting clays. This 30 plus person group would rotate between chasing pheasants and chukars to busting clay pigeons. The weather could not of been better by January standards. Given the amount of birds that were harvested, I would say I have enough feathers to keep me tying into the next century!

It appeared that there was a panel of experts that offered constructive criticism and critiques to their co-workers about their shooting abilities when a clay pigeon made it through unscathed whether it was because they missed or forgot to take the safety off their gun. Even if it was a hit or miss when it came to shooting everyone had a great time, especially watching Doug turn an over/under shotgun into a semi-automatic.
