Just finished up at the Fly Fishing Show down in Denver this last weekend. Unfortunately we had not been to this show in a while due to the fact that in previous years both this show and the ISE show coincided on the same weekend. It was a great turnout with lots of people everyday visiting our booth. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. It was great to talk with many of regulars who fish and shop with us along with meeting a lot of new people as well.
Not much has changed as far as fishing goes. Same program with nymphing. Eggs, red rock worms, midges, leeches are all catching fish. Streamers on a slow strip or swing are also getting fish, just a little more ice to contend with your guides. We do have a boat out today and will get a report posted as soon as we can. As of right now there is a ice jam about a mile upstream of Lusby making it difficult to float. Please use extreme caution with this. On a lighter note you can still float with us! We still have the $300.00 off season rate for a full day float. Come out and enjoy the solitude of being the only boat on the water.
