NORTH PLATTE RIVER FLY FISHING REPORT

GREY REEF RAINBOW TROUT

Fishing Report July 19, 2016:

Flows continue to hold steady at 2,5oo cfs. We are seeing our fair share of moss out there. Mornings are providing more consistency than the afternoons due to rising temperatures. We are finally seeing fish in faster riffles and runs.

Fish are eating on size 16 and 18 purple macgrubers, chocolate macgrubers, chocolate emergers, and Mitchell’s split case PMD. With flows down, wade fishing is becoming more accessible. So get out there and enjoy good fishing and great weather!
