Crazy Rainbow Fishing Clients

Red and I had the pleasure of guiding these four gentlemen from Tuesday through Thursday of last week! They had a great bucket list trip filled with fish, a guide going down with vertigo, some truck bed doctoring, and some great laughs! Fishing was really on the mend with the water remaining high. Flows are now at 4,500. So target the soft edges and inside corners of the river wherever slow runs can be found. Running between 6 and 8 feet to your weights with anywhere from an ab to two abs seems to be the ticket too. Rock worms of all shapes sizes and colors, eggs, and an assortment of Baetis imitations have been working. We continue to have days available in June and the fishing is hot regardless of the high water. So don’t shy away and give the shop a call today!
