Every once in a while, something new comes through the door that gets us excited, and that’s exactly what happened when Olivia stopped by the shop with her artwork. She showed us a few of her stickers, and we were hooked right away (pun intended).
Olivia is a 15 year old angler and artist whose work is inspired by time spent fishing with friends and family in places like Wyoming, Montana, Michigan, Arkansas, and British Columbia. Every design starts as original pen and ink artwork before being painted with watercolor and turned into stickers, mugs, hats, canvases, and more
Along with her younger sister Claire, Olivia is building Olivia Mae Designs from the ground up. They’re hoping to earn enough for a sweet fishing truck, plenty of huckleberry taffy from Wise River Mercantile, and maybe even a little college money along the way.
We love seeing young people bring this kind of passion and creativity to the fishing community. Olivia’s artwork captures the fun side of fishing, and we’re proud to have her products in the shop.
