We’ll Take it!
Grey Reef flows have bumped up to 700 CFS! It may not seem like much, but it’s enough to help cool down the system without blowing it out. We’re pretty happy to see a little extra water moving through the river.
Fishing remains good. Caddis and PMDs are coming off strong all day, Tricos are showing face in the mornings, and Yellow Sallies are making appearances in the afternoons. Grey Reef continues to be our top pick, especially in the colder water closer to the dam. Fremont Canyon is fishing well and seeing the same productive hatches.
One quick reminder: while Grey Reef received more water, flows at the Miracle Mile did not increase. If you’re fishing up there, be especially mindful of water temperatures and fish early whenever possible.
