As July comes to a close here are a few things you should know. One, the fishing is still on.
The Reef dropped to 2200 CFS and is still fishing well! With a little bit of late summer storms, we’ve seen it get slightly off color but things will clear up quick. When the water gets hazy, your best bet is a rock worm, leech and a bug of your choice. PMD’s, Caddis and Yellow Sallies are working great at the moment. The Miracle Mile has remained pretty clear and is fishing great. Little buggier up that way with water having higher visibility. Everything is still pretty subsurface.
Carping is a short window and we’re sad it’s almost over. From now until about middle of August the conditions will be ideal to get out there! The guide staff for these trips are limited to the sooner we can get you on the books the better!
