We have started our weekly fly tying night at the shop! Stop by on Thursday night from 5:30 – 10:30 for some laughs and fishy camaraderie, sometimes we even tie flies too. Materials will be provided for a specific bug we will be teaching, and we have a limited number of tools and vises available, so get here early! The Reef has been the hot spot for anglers looking to get out in the cold, try annelids and midges. The Miracle Mile still has brown tout running, but expect numbers to decline in the coming weeks.
Nymphing:
Dark colored midges have been very effective, as well as red rock worms when on the Reef.
