SPRING HAS SPRUNG, GET OUT AND FISH!!

Fishing Report March 28, 2018:

Forecast for the rest of the week is calling for some moisture and breezy days. However the temps will be favorable for spring fishing. We have been seeing a lot of breezy days this week but it is Wyoming, If you do not go fly fishing in Wyoming because of the wind then you won’t be doing much fly fishing. So dress accordingly and have fun!

Recommended Flies:

  • Leeches (Rusty) Size 10
  • Annelids (Red, and Purple) size 10-16
  • Egg Patterns
  • Scuds (Amber, and Orange) Size 14-16
  • Midges (Red and Purple Thread Midge, and MacGruber Midge) Size 16-18

Streamer Update:

Fishing streamers on most sections of the river has been effective. Smaller streamers (olive and brown in color) seem to be the ticket. Come check out our new stock of Rusty Trombones!!!!!

Current Flows:

  • Reef: 501 CFS
  • Mile: 1002 CFS
  • Fremont: 75 CFS

YOUR FLY FISHING QUOTE OF THE WEEK!!!!
