GREY REEF FISHING REPORT JUNE 22, 2016

Gray Reef Fishing Report June 22, 2016:

It has been a busy couple of weeks for us and we apologize for the delay on fishing updates.

Flow Info:

The river is starting to recede and is currently flowing at 5,000 cfs.  The fishing as of late has certainly been improving. he fish are starting to move into their summer haunts in the faster slicks and banks.

Flies to Use:

Top bugs as of late have red and purple rock worms, hares ears, morrish dirty bird, macgruber and the Ugly Bug PMD.  We have been running about 6-7ft to an AB and BB weight to counteract the heavy flows. As these flows start to drop you should be able to lighten up on the weight.  The river is still high and very cold, please use extreme caution when wading.
