North Platte River Fishing Report March 21, 2016:
The flush was complete last week and the river is clean and looks to be in great shape. Fishing as of late has been very consistent. We have had boats on the water everyday and the reports have been great. Red and purple rock worms, pine squirrel leeches, eggs, and some midges are a few of the flies that have been working. The cooler temps that we have experienced lately has had the fish holding in the softer water in the mornings. Fish seem to be transitioning to the faster riffles and runs as temps warm up. Please be aware that fishing are starting to spawn and make their beds. We ask you please respect these fish and leave them alone to do their thing.
