SPRING FLUSH ON THE GREY REEF

Well the annual Spring flush started yesterday and has already started to improve the river.  We did have boats out yesterday that came back with reports of decent fishing.  We do have boats out each day this week so we will keep you posted on the progress of the flush.  The coloration of the upper river has not changed much with this flush though.  Right now, don’t be afraid to throw your whole arsenal of bugs.  Everything is

becoming dislodged and the fish will be on the the feed!  Leeches, crane fly larva, scuds, eggs, and rock worms.  Look for fish to transition back to rock worms along with midges when the flows start to subside.  Feel free to give us a call here at the shop.
