PLATTE RIVER FISHING REPORT

Hoping everyone had a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend.  With September starting this is the kickoff for fall activities whether it be fishing or hunting.

The flows stabilized out to 5oo cfs last week and so has the moss.  Fishing remains pretty consistent with nymphing along with some on drys and streamers.  A 4-7ft rig with either and AB or BB trailed with crawdads, leeches, caddis seem to be the recipe for now.

The forecast shows warm weather for the next week but is showing a cooling trend towards the end of the week.  It is only a matter of time until the baetis and streamer fishing is going to turn on!
