NORTH PLATTE RIVER FISHING REPORT

Was able to get out late last week with Casey and Eric. Casey has been a

long time client and regular at the shop. Fishing was a little slow in the morning but Casey was able to stick a nice brown right out of the gate. What a great way to start a cold December morning! Once the temps warmed up a bit the midges came out in full force, with fish rising all over the place. Eric switched gears and changed to a soft hackle set up with a slow swing and was able to educate a lot of fish. It seems that the fishing is getting better everyday that we are out.This weather is crazy

how nice it has been, for Wyoming standards. It appears that we have a front moving in later in the week with better temps early next week. Give us a call and come out and enjoy winter time fishing at its best!
