It seems that everything is starting to settle down and gaining some consistency with our flows. The Mile is sitting about 1,000 cfs, Fremont is at 75cfs and the Reef is around 2,000. The tricos are here in full force every morning with many eager trout there to greet them.
Nymphing is still the name of the game with the exception of tricos in the a.m. and caddis in the evenings. Streamer fishing has been hit and miss but we are still able to find some willing fish to chase. The moss is here along with some of the “floaties” but compared to years past this has been great for fishing.
We are now offering guided carp trips up at Pathfinder and Alcova Reservoirs as well. Take a brake from catching trout and tie in to the bonefish of the west! You will not regret it.
