Are very own Blake Jackson will be at the 1st annual Sportsman’s Banquet tonight at 6:00. Blake will be conducting a presentation on the North Platte River with tips, tactics and what you can expect on this great fishery. Not only will Blake be presenting but they also have special guest Chad Schearer, host of Shoot Straight TV on the Sportsman Channel. This event is sponsored by the Lighthouse Baptist Church.
The doors open at 6pm where guests can spend time looking at taxidermy, outdoor related booths, eat some great Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que, and tell your favorite hunting stories. We will also have fun with a Youth Turkey Calling Contest for all ages. At 7:30pm we will have an exciting presentation from Chad Schearer host of Shoot Straight TV on the Sportsman’s Channel. Following Chad’s presentation we will be giving away door prizes to both adults and children (must be present to win). Our adult prizes include a Savage Axis XP 30-06 and a Benelli Nova 12ga. The kids (12 and under) will have a chance to win BB Guns and .22 rifles to start their outdoor adventures.
Because our church believes strongly in the family, we encourage you to bring the whole family along. And because we also realize how difficult it is to afford to do things with the whole family this Sportsman’s Banquet is free of charge, our gift to the community.
