Woof, thanks for hanging in with us on this one. Alas, we have an update! Instead of delaying the flush entirely, the BOR and WGF have decided to adjust the schedule. This allows the flush to still be ran and for spawning beds to still be prepped, it just looks a little different than prior years. Here is the schedule:
The flush will start on March 7th and finish on March 14th. On the weekends (March 7th-8th and 13th-4th), flows will look like this:
The remainder of the days (March 9th -12th) will look like this:
The weekends will look similar to the flush we are all used to- flows will be back down to safe wading levels by 9 AM. If you plan to wade on the week days, it is important to be mindful of the flows. FLOWS WILL BE MUCH HIGHER, AND WILL CHANGE RAPIDLY. They will not drop down to the safest wading flows (500 CFS) until 1:30 PM. Plan accordingly.
