Fishing Report 10/23/2025

Coming at you with a quick fishing report. Fall fishing has been living up to expectations.
The Reef

Multiple sections of the Reef are fishing well at the moment. It is nice to be able to capitalize 40 miles of river and poke around and take advantage of all that the river offers. Multiple techniques are producing – from dries, dry drop, indicator nymphing and chucking streamers. We are shifting into fall/winter hatches of BWOs, Pseudos, and midges. On warmer days, there are still caddis around as well. Worms, leeches and crayfish patterns have their moments as well. The Reef is at 500 cfs and should stay there until spring water allocations.

The Mile

The Mile has been alright. It is at 500 cfs as well. As we get weather systems moving in and potential for more “western” aka winter type conditions. be mindful of the road and getting in (and out) of there. Similar flies with maybe a slight nudge to a little more on the worms.

Fremont Canyon

Fremont has been pretty good as well. Similar hatches. When in doubt at Fremont, downsize tippet and bugs. Mayhams, zebra midges and the like.

Still some time to get in on great fall fishing. November 1st, we go to off season rates for guide trips. If you want to get a trip on the books or updated information, feel free to give a shout.
