FISHING REPORT
Week of May 15, 2017
Fishing this past week was rough and water was murky. However, conditions are improving and fishing is heating up once again. Bugs have not changed a whole lot in the past week. We are still seeing quite a bit of bluewing patterns.
Recommended Flies
- Gray foam post RS2,
- Purple MacGruber both glass bead and foam back
- Chocolate emergers
- Batwing emergers
- Streamers have been fishing well too in the lower river, olive and gold have been very consistent colors. We have been seeing solid streamer eats and have been pulling in some very healthy fish. As conditions improve and the river clears back up fishing is expected to get better. Flows have held steady but are projected to rise.
